Burlingame Town Square will transform a former downtown parking lot into a one acre public plaza, envisioned as “Burlingame’s Living Room.” Designed with plane trees, seating terraces, and artistic water features including a light show evoking the historic Burlingame Creek the space will host outdoor dining, farmers’ markets, festivals, and other events. Funded in part by the adjacent 220 Park development, the plaza fulfills a lon planned goal for the Downtown Specific Plan and is set to become the new epicenter of Burlingame Avenue, blending small town charm with long term economic and civic vitality.
