Subcontractor Conduct Policies
Clear standards and expectations to ensure safety, quality, and professionalism on every job site. These policies guide subcontractors in maintaining a safe, respectful, and productive environment.
Adherence to Safety Regulations
Subcontractors must strictly follow all site specific safety protocols, including proper PPE usage, fall protection, confined space rules, and immediate hazard reporting. Safety is non-negotiable.
Work Quality and Scope Compliance
All work must meet contract specs, industry standards, and pass inspection. Substitutions or changes require written approval. Cutting corners is unacceptable.
Professional and Respectful Conduct
No harassment, discrimination, or aggressive behavior will be tolerated. Respect toward all team members and trades is expected at all times.
Site Cleanliness and Daily Housekeeping
Crews must clean up their work areas daily, remove trash, and avoid creating tripping hazards or obstructions. A clean site is a safe and productive one.
Unlock Opportunities with Certification
Certifications like MBE, SBE, DBE, WBE, and DVBE are essential for subcontractors seeking access to set aside contracts and increased business opportunities in California’s public and private sectors. These programs promote diversity, equity, and inclusion by reserving a portion of work for certified businesses. Getting certified not only opens doors to valuable projects but also positions your company as a trusted partner committed to excellence and community impact.
